The Bazaar of the Four Winds is the latest chapter in The Living World updates for Guild Wars 2. It adds a lot of new content, plus changes some of the older tried and tested features, making them cleaner and more user friendly. Today we're going to take a quick look at the update and decide just how much value is added in The Bazaar of the Four Winds.

And if you're not excited, you should be, because it's the best Living World update yet!

in News, The Elder Scrolls Online

A new batch of invites for The Elder Scrolls Online have been sent out, Bethesda have revealed. They've also promised that the beta will continue to grow between now and launch next year, so if you've been unlucky today, don't give up hope just yet. Although I expect emails have finished being sent for this round of invites, it's possible that things may continue through to tomorrow, depending on your email service and how quickly the emails come out from Bethesda's side.

So, were you lucky?

It was revealed today, through the grape vine, that Bungie's next game, Destiny, will have cost so much at launch that Activision will need to sell as many as ten million copies to strike even. Ten million copies! That would make it one of the biggest launches of 2014, and it's a huge gamble to take. Few games manage to get more than ten million units, and Destiny is a new IP.

I don't know that I'd specifically call Destiny an MMO, but there are a lot of people that are. It's use of a persistant world, I suppose, is the biggest factor. If it manages to sell as many as it needs to strike even, it'll make it a game changer for the entire genre. If it doesn't, it still will influence everything else in the industry.
