The Bazaar of the Four Winds is the latest chapter in The Living World updates for Guild Wars 2. It adds a lot of new content, plus changes some of the older tried and tested features, making them cleaner and more user friendly. Today we're going to take a quick look at the update and decide just how much value is added in The Bazaar of the Four Winds.

And if you're not excited, you should be, because it's the best Living World update yet!

It was revealed today, through the grape vine, that Bungie's next game, Destiny, will have cost so much at launch that Activision will need to sell as many as ten million copies to strike even. Ten million copies! That would make it one of the biggest launches of 2014, and it's a huge gamble to take. Few games manage to get more than ten million units, and Destiny is a new IP.

I don't know that I'd specifically call Destiny an MMO, but there are a lot of people that are. It's use of a persistant world, I suppose, is the biggest factor. If it manages to sell as many as it needs to strike even, it'll make it a game changer for the entire genre. If it doesn't, it still will influence everything else in the industry.

Everybody is talking about the guy that owned the $8000 ship in Eve Online. I say owned, because it was destroyed. It was supposedly more or less invincible and yet, after pulling it out as a swift end to a giant battle, one person found himself $8000 poorer. 

This isn't the first Eve Online story to go around. It seems not even a few months can go by without someone somewhere spending an obscene amount of money on space ships, or real estate in Second World. To someone like me, that rarely buys DLC, let alone invests huge amounts of money in virtual items, it seems a little excessive...
