Star Trek Online fans have been waiting for this for a very long time. I don't know how many times producer Dan Stahl had to answer questions regarding a Romulus Faction in the Sci-Fi MMO. Last month, Cryptic announced the Legacy of Romulus expansion with a trailer and some screens. Today, we have the brand new expansion trailer that shows us the Reman units and the new starships like the Scorpion Fighter and the Tvaro Light Warbird. Read on to see the new screens and the trailer that shows us what these Warbirds are capable of, as well as the Legacy of Romulus boxart.

Earlier this month, Cryptic published a teaser page and had hinted on a new Star Trek Online expansion that looked like it was related to Romulans. And it turns out it was really related to Romulans. Today they announced the release date of the new expansion "Legacy of Romulus". The expansion will be released on May 21st. While it's still about two months away, Cryptic and Perfect World have published the teaser site along with a set of new screenshots and a teaser trailer as a surprise to us all fans of the Sci-Fi MMO. 

Star Trek Online developers have created a new teaser site with a countdown and a date. There is also a semi-crypted message that reads "Our Shadow Will Dim The Stars". We don't know where this came from and we don't know who is coming in May 2013 or as the countdown points to March 21st, which is the traditional first day of the astrological year. It looks like we're looking at Romulans. Finally!

Star Trek Online has got new player starships. If you remember from last week's Star Trek Online New Starships Spotlight video, PWE has introduced the new Dominion ships and Andorian Escort ships. Today, we have the screenshots of the Androrian Escort ships; Charal Class, Khyzon Class, and Kumari Class as well as the Andorian bridge. Star Trek Online has got new players ships. Cryptic Studios has just released a new trailer that quickly shows us these new dominion, new mirror, new fleet ships as well as new Andorian escorts. The new ships include the new Jem'Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier, Mirror Universe Patrol Escort, Fleet Retrofit and the all new Andorian Kumari Escort.
