Content updates rarely include new music. Most developers overlook this. Reloaded Games doesn't. Who knew APB Reloaded had a rock band among its fans? Industrial rock band Dope Stars is coming to the streets of San Paro with three tracks from the band's latest album "Ultrawired". The band is known with their passion for games, internet, Science Fiction and virtual worlds. Dope Stars members call fans of APB Reloaded as Ultrawired people and said that self-expression is what makes music and gaming alike.

Aeria Games revealed new screenshots and information for its upcoming free to play MMOFPS game "Soldier Front 2". The shooter is tactical based but it will also have a series of game modes featuring aliens, aiming to entertain the fans of shooter games with variety. One of these interesting game modes in Soldier Front 2 is the MOBA-style war mode called the Hero Mode. Hero Mode gives players the chance to spawn alien troops called Xanthids to defeat enemy troops and  capture their base. Xanthids will be featured in other games modes as well. If you have been visiting Guild Wars 2 website regularly, you may have noticed what I have. ArenaNet has been offering discounts every now and then and it had come to my attention that the publisher has been doing this to see how it affected sales. According to the press release from ArenaNet today, Guild Wars 2 digital and deluxe editions have new prices from now on. The new sales price for the standard digital edition is now $49.99 (previously $59.99) and the deluxe edition goes for $69.99 instead of the previous price of $79.99. So there is a $10 discount for both versions of Guild Wars 2.

Perfect World and Cyrptic Studios had a rough Sunday, so did the players of the new Dungeons and Dragons MMORPG "Neverwinter". While the game is still in Beta, noone expected such a major bug that caused a severe exploit that damaged the game's economy in hours. Hundreds of players if not thousands were caught exploiting. On the bright side, Cyrptic was able to react quickly. The developer suspended the in-game economy tools while they investigated the issue. Unfortunately for many players, progress of eight hours was wiped.

Trion Worlds has been announcing some bad news and also some good ones. Bad news first, there has been some reports about lay-offs at Trion Worlds, first claimed by IGN and then confirmed by the company, although it was not as drastic as IGN had claimed. We're sorry to hear about this. The good news concerns the PC gamers. Defiance is now available for $29.99 until Sunday night.
