Following the official release on December 20th, Bioware continues to show off with the success of its giant title Star Wars The Old Republic. In its final press release, co-founder of Bioware, Dr.Ray Muzyka named SWTOR as the fastest growing subscription MMO of all time.

All the hype, all the attention Star Wars The Old Republic received from the MMO industry lived up to it. Over 1 million subscribers has connected to EA's SWTOR servers in the last 4 days making the title the biggest MMO production of all time.

Since its early access, SWTOR fans have been doing nothing but living a whole new life on the game's servers. This resulted in such impressive numbers as shown below:

Early Game Access and playing up to seven days before launch. To date, players have:

• Logged 28 million in-game hours – roughly equivalent to watching all six Star Wars movies, two million times
• Averaged well over five hours a day playing the game
• Created more than 3.8 million characters; 510,000 Jedi Knights and 550,000 Sith Warriors
• Killed more than 2 billion non-player characters in the eight days since Early Game Access began
