Neverwinter

Perfect World's Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter is in my opinion their best product to date. I have played the game for hours during the Closed Beta and I have to admit I was amazed by it. It's partially because I never expected it to be that good and I am not really a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons game. I was expecting a game with little action and boring combat but I was wrong. Neverwinter is now in Open Beta and today, PWE and Cyrptic has announced the release date and the first details of the game's first expansion: "Fury of the Feywild". Perfect World and Cyrptic Studios had a rough Sunday, so did the players of the new Dungeons and Dragons MMORPG "Neverwinter". While the game is still in Beta, noone expected such a major bug that caused a severe exploit that damaged the game's economy in hours. Hundreds of players if not thousands were caught exploiting. On the bright side, Cyrptic was able to react quickly. The developer suspended the in-game economy tools while they investigated the issue. Unfortunately for many players, progress of eight hours was wiped.

Neverwinter's in-game economy is in danger as a couple of serious bugs have allowed some players to abuse the system. Cryptic/Perfect World has been locking forum topics while they investigated this issue. Earlier today, they announced that several players have been banned for exploits. The developer had also taken down the Auction House and Astral Diamond Exchange but it was determined later that the exploit was caused by two serious bugs. Read on for the announcement detail.

Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter has recently launched its Open Beta. The developer Cryptic has been teasing us with tweets earlier this morning and finally they have spilled it out. My initial guess was that it would be a new class but I was wrong. Neverwinter's Module 1 Update was the big news and Cryptic has just launched a teaser site. Read on for first details.

Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter is going to enter Open Beta at the end of the month while the Founders are getting an early access from the 24th. Today, Cyrptic has revealed the devils of the Helm's Hold, one of the sanctuaries in Forgotten Realms. Helm's Hold is the home to many devils and monsters of various sizes and powers.
