Guild Wars 2 gameplay review episode 10And it comes to this: our tenth week of Guild Wars 2 gameplay diaries. I had wanted to spend this week detailing the Lost Shores event, but those of you who follow Guild Wars news will know only too well that that isn’t going to happen. I’m going to give it a bash – just to see how bad the situation really is – but I’m not sure what will come of it. Instead, this week will mainly detail our final battle with the Ringmaster and his gang of hypnotized carnies. I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited to be able to write a sentence like that. As a side note, if you haven’t played in the last few days, you’ll have a pretty hefty patch waiting for you when you try to log-in.

Guild Wars 2 Diary Episode 9
This week, we take a break from carrying on with the story but instead we'll take a look at the World we have been exploring in the past eight weeks.  I have been thinking about the game, mostly about how little I’ve got through the damn thing. We’re fairly rapidly coming up to 10 weeks of Guild Wars 2 diaries, and I don’t think I’ve seen even 5% of the game. That says an awful lot about the fantastic effort that has been put into the different areas, different races, different towns and villages.

Guild Wars 2 Diary Episode #8We have a ringmaster to capture. Over the last few weeks we’ve unveiled his plot to use the hypnotic powers of the Floating Grizwhirl to some terrible end, but we haven’t been quite sure what that end has been. We’ve managed to rescue countless people (more than seven!) under the influence of the Ringmaster and of the Grizwhirl but the world won’t be safe until we can put him down for good. To do that we’ll need to go to a meeting of recruits and ambush him. It worked before with Two-blade Pete, why wouldn’t it work with the Ringmaster?
