Wizardry Online Is Live

So the day has come and Wizardry Online, the classic fantasy franchise has returned. And that's some return. With the game's launch, hundreds of thousands of MMORPG fans have started talking about Wizardry Online. So, what makes the return of Wizardry Online so special?

First of all, Sony Online Entertainment is delivering the game as a free to play MMO. This is surely going to make this already-popular franchise a giant fantasy MMORPG, once again. What makes Wizardry Online so different from other franchises. Whatever they are, SOE has not touched them and the new Wizardry Online is offering the same elements. They are; the Wizardry Online hardcore gameplay, the intense difficulty, the party-based combat and possibly something you will hear ffor the first time : "The Perma-death" – Yes! it means, when you’re dead, you stay dead, forever!

Wizardry Online offers races, from humans to elves and form porkuls, gnomes to dwarves. 

 Todd Carson, Senior Producer, Sony Online Entertainment speaks of Wizardry Online as the most hardcore fantasy MMORPG ever created. Wizardry Online features:

Lost System: When you are dead, you are dead. But it doesn't mean you have to stop playing. It doesn't work like that. But your character is finished once he/she is dead. When you are dead, you will need to donate to revive yourself and if you fail twice, it means you are “Lost” and you become unplayable forever! Good news is that your experience will be noted on the Soul (account), allowing for an easier start for the next character.

Massive Dungeons: Wizardry Online's dungeons are made of a variety of traps and there are powerful monsters who dare to you to invade their territory.

Skill Customization: You can customize your characters by combining skills from current or previous classes. This means that you can use the skill heredity system and create a fighter who can heal.

Bounty Hunt System: Players will try to kill and rob other players for rare items and if you do that, you might get yourself in big trouble. With the bounty hunt system in place, other players may offer a bounty on your head and you'd have to run from bounty hunters.
