50 million agents deployed in The Secret War

Funcom's modern day MMO is going to be released June 19, 2012. While the fans are eagerly waiting to join one of the three secret societies in the game, Funcom has released a browser based social game "The Secret War" which has already over 200k registered players.

Funcom is going to release its secret societies MMO game The Secret World in June. If you have visited the official site lately, there is a browser based mini social game named The Secret War that allows players to  experience a little bit of the modern day MMO. It's nothing like The Secret World but those who can't wait to play the game can check it out.

The Secret War has been online for about two weeks and according to Funcom's latest release, over 200 thousand players have registered to play the game and they have deployed over 50 million agents as three societies have begun battling to dominate the world.

Since launch on April 18th additional strategic layers have been added to the experience and participants must now work together toward a common goal every week. The secret society that performs best by the end of each week will see all their members be rewarded with unique items that can be used in ‘The Secret World’ MMO. This week the factions battle for the Heart of Africa health-boosting talisman.
