Age of Wulin: In game item sells for 16k

During 2011, so many times we have discussed the micro-transactions in MMO games and had recently posted about some of the most expensive in-game items. This time, the honor belongs to Age of Wulin players, paying thousands of dollars for in-game items.

In-game items or in-game goods, whatever you call them, they are virtual items. There has been debates over the prices of such items in MMO games. We saw Dark Orbit selling items for thousands of Euros and have also talked about Eve Online's mega-priced items.

Despite being in beta-stage yet, Age of Wulin published by gPotato and developed by Snail Games celebrated the launch by running an auction for in-game items. Rumours suggest, players paid these unique items from $1,600 up to $16,000.

It is not far-fetched to guess this in game items madness will only get crazier in 2012 with some of the biggest MMO games to be released.
