Battlestar Galactica Online: Cobol Festival begins!

It's not only the Olympics that's begun today. I don't know if Cylons are good at sports but Bigpoint has just announced the beginning of Cobol Festival for its Sci-Fi MMO game Battlestar Galactica Online. Cobol Festival is a 17 day celebration with special events and tournaments for both the Humans and Cylons. Cylon Decathlon anyone?

Cylons vs Humans in Decathlon this time

Bigpoing's Sci-Fi MMO game that's based on the legendary Battlestar Galactica series is entering a special 17 day event: Festival of Cobol. Festival of Cobol will take Humans and Cylons to four different tournaments;

·         Decimation – Players with the most Player-vs-Player victories wins.

·         Annihilation – Players that inflict the most damage against the opposing faction wins.
·         Crucible – Players that gain the most experience points without boosters or capital ships wins.
·         Rock Buster – Players with the most mined resources wins.

Festival of Cobol has begun today with the first of the Decathlon tournaments. From tomorrow players can go to different sectors to test themselves in several tournaments and events to win prizes and rewards. 

When Festival of Kobol comes to an end, the top 20 players will be given bundles of prizes from tuning kits, ammunition rounds, to warheads and other juicy in-game items.

And the cream of the crop, the top 3 winners of the Decathlon will get Cubits and fantastic rewards.
