A group of developers who worked on SWTOR at Bioware has left the developer and established their own studio "Stoic". They also announced their upcoming game "The Banner Saga" which they define as a mixture of RPG and turn based strategy.
The Banner Saga
Stoic is a new development studio that was created by three developers, Arnie Jorgensen, Alex Thomas and John Watson who previously worked for years on SWTOR at Bioware. The trio left Bioware and started working on a new game "The Banner Saga".
The Banner Saga is defined by Stoic as "RPG meets turn based strategy" which absolutely sounds attractive. It will only get better if Stoic is not exaggerating their product because they say it is visually stunning. They also define "The Banner Saga" as a mature game that is aimed at gamers who are into art, story and strategy.
I suppose they already have eliminated the majority fans by making a turn based strategy. However, the way they put it makes you wonder. There is no other information yet about the game but we will keep an eye on this for you. (You can also subscribe below to "The Banner Saga" and get all the latest news on this game in your e-mail)
