Dark Wind is a free to play turn based persistent world 3D MMO game. The game is set in near future and players create or join gangs and custom build their own vehicles. The customization options and the depth of the gameplay makes it a promising strategy game. It doesn't have the greatest visuals but the gameplay is worth trying.

Darkwind is an online turn based strategy war game. DW-Tactical is targeted at those players who enjoy the challenge of PvP but wish to play combats without the requirement to build up their own resources in a persistent game-world. Players choose and build their vehicles from 52 types of chassis, 57 types of weapon, 19 types of engines and 47 wilderness maps.

From the visuals you can see below, they are not the best. Actually, they are pretty obselete. However, the gameplay might please you if you are into turn based strategy games. The customization options, specifially the vehicle building is highly satisfactory.
