DC Universe Online: Assemble for battle is live

DC Universe Online update 9 is now live. Assemble for Battle features Role Optional Alerts, Team Buff and the new Novice Raids. The role optional alerts are for those who'd like to see who is queing up for what. Team buff gives a bonus to players when three or more players are grouped together. Read on for the details.

DC Universe Online "Assemble for Battle" is now live with exciting features. 

The two of these features are Role Optional Alerts and Team Buff.

All Alerts are now role optional. Generally it shouldn't take much more than a few minutes for an Alert queue to pop regardless of your role, assuming there are enough people willing to play that Alert. When the matchmaking system tries to form a group out of the pool of queued players it tries to form a balanced group first. As minutes pass, the system becomes increasingly less picky about finding a specific role for a given group slot.

There is also the "Novice Raids". Novice raids as the name suggests are less demanding than Expert raids and their goal is to help more players experience more of the game. The combat rating required for these raids are less than Expert raids, meaning players can access these sooner. Novice raids include loots too but of course the rewards are less than what an Expert Raid offers.
