DC Universe Online's Update 21 is live

DC Universe Online's latest content update: Game Update 21 is now live. The servers were offline since early morning but SOE has confirmed that all game worlds have been rebooted and the game is back live with new gameplay elements such as the new legends PvP and Arena PvP map. DC Universe Online: Game Update 21 is live

Heroes, you can now go back to your DC Universe Online world as SOE has confirmed the availability of all game servers following this morning's content update. Game Update 21 introduce new PvP maps, auto-loot, the new combat rating requirement, challenge updates, new rewards for alerts, mission & raid updates as well as minor fixes and UI improvements.

Legendary members, along with players who have purchased Hand of Fate are treated with New Legends PvP and a new Arena PvP Map. Inner Sanctum has unlocked for them!

Auto Loot is a new feature that allows players to automatically pick-up all the loot available for them. 

Tier 2 through Tier 4 Challenges, Duos, Alerts, and Raids will reward players only if they meet a cartain level of Combat Rating. 

Alerts updated are Arkham Asylum, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow. 

Some of the challenges are now more rewarding. Old Gotham Subway challenge boss will possibly drop Tier 2 Research and Development plans so it's a good idea to check it out. Lair of the Spectre Challenge will also reward credit for the Lost and Found side mission. 

Some other changes involve Tier 3 Alerts offering a random daily bonus. 

Some items such as the Mark of Legend x5 will come with new rewards. 

Fnally, DC Universe Online Game Update 21 also features UI improvements such as the fix for player backgrounds, combat log fixes and fixed save & reset buttons. You can read the details over at DCUO website>
