Diablo 3 set new records
No wonder why Diablo 3 has had a tough launch. The game has set an all time record for the fastest selling PC game with 3.5 million copies sold in the first 24 hours of its release. Diablo 3 has been played by 6.3 million players in its first week, which is also another record. Read on for details.
Diablo 3 - Fastest selling PC game
The wait was over and Diablo's long time fans knew what they had to do. With special launch events all over the world, it was obvious the game was going to set new records in PC gaming.
Although the launch of Diablo 3 has been struggling with a number of technical difficulties, the game has set new records in PC Games history.

Going live on May 15th at 8,000 retailers around the world and on-line as digital download, Diablo 3 has been purchaseb by 5.1 million players around the world. When you count the 1.2 million players who received Diablo 3 as part of the World of Warcraft annual pass promotion, 6.3 million players have started playing the game.
