Diablo 3's new patch annoys players with XP bug

Diablo 3 did not launch without problems. It looks like the new patch Diablo 3 v1.03 didn't have a flawless launch either. The new update which fixed several bugs also introduced a new and annoying bug that affected some of the players, especially those who own a digital copy of the game. Diablo 3 1.03 patch and Experience Points bug

Blizzard will have to work on a new patch immediately. A patch that fixes the latest 1.03 update... Don't worry, it's not that serious. The little bug affected players who own the digital copy of the game. 

The reports on the official forums since the launch of 1.03 patch suggested that some of the players stopped gaining experience points. Thankfully the solution came quick.

How to fix Diablo 3 1.03 No XP bug

The little bug was isolated to digital copy owners only and a quick fix came a few hours later. According to the users who were affected by the bug, the fix is simple. Changing account password simply solves the problem and players start gaining experience again. 

Patch 1.03 did not break everything, it made Towns a secure place from combat as intended, reduced rewards for replayed quests, made real-money auction house available for Chilean, Argentinian, and Brazilian currencies as well as a series of small fixes.
