Final Fantasy XIV : former subscribers are welcome
Square Enix is trying to reach out to Final Fantasy XIV's former subscribers to come back to the game and give it a second chance as the developer have made vast changes to the MMO. Former account holders will have a chance to try the game for 10 days for free.
Square Enix launches Welcome Back Campaign
Since its first launch back in 2010, Square Enix have been making a series of changes to Final Fantasy XIV. The developer believes the game deserves a second chance as it calls the former players of the game to come back and try the changes in Eorzea for 10 days for free.

ready for a return to Eorzea?
It's not really the most attractive offer as it's limited to 10 days only but considering the changes to the game, Square Enix have been announcing in the last few months, such as the new job system and inn rooms, it is well worth giving it a second chance.
This campaign is not starting right away. Players will have to wait until May 9th and will have to take advantage of this right away as it's also limited to a 10 day period from May 9th till May 20th and they won't be able to create additional characters without paying.

Legacy membership campaign is for loyal players in 2012
Legacy membership
Possibly a juicier offer is the Legacy Membership. Players who had an active account in 2012 for a period of 90 days, will be receiving membership discounts and bonus items such as the Chocobo mount.
