Firefall - Changes in the next version

New addition to the developer update videos for Firefall has been released. Having received massive feedback from its Beta testers, Red 5 Studios developers have put together the changes they are planning to make for the next version of the game. In the video, the developer explains a number of enhancements they have in design stage for the next version of Firefall.

Firefall won't have levels

Some of the changes planned are:

- The biggest change will be the removal of levels. This will allow players to decide how they will progress with their characters.

- More skills and skill based character customization system. This was done to ensure that players have more skills to use with their characters, such as a better version of the jetpack or a shorter cool-down time.

- Another part of the game that will be revamped is the match-making system. Right now, in Firefall, the PvP matckmaking system matches you with an opponent that is close to your level. Instead, the next version will feature a skill based match-making system.
