Guild Wars 2 : History of the Jotun

In the latest blog post on Arena.net, we read about the history of Jotun race. The advanced, arrogant and powerful race of this society of giants has suffered from their arrogance but we will see them return in Guild Wars 2 and they will be more intelligent this time.

Jotun race in Guild Wars 2

One of the races in Guild Wars 2 is the Jotun. The powerful giant society proclaimed themselves rulers of Shiverpeak mountains. They didn't really have any difficulties defeating all who threatened their control over the mountains but then they couldn't live in peace. Peace was something they could never adjust to, with their arrogant nature.

Then came the internal war. Giant kings turned on each other demanding domination. The internal war made them lose all their magic skills in years. Jotun magic was history before they saw the end of the neverending internal wars.

Arena.net then continues how they wanted to bring them back to life with Guild Wars 2. In Guild Wars 2, we are going to see a smarter and taller Jotun race than Guild Wars I.
