League of Legends user database hacked

Have you missed the hacking news? This time, the victim was Riot Games. League of Legends, a massively popular massively multiplayer online game; and naturally a massive target for a massive group of hackers. Riot Games reported the hacking yesterday and apologized to players in an e-mail.
League of Legends players should reset their passwords
According to yesterday's announcement by Riot Games, League of Legends database with all the user accounts information has been compromised, thankfully the compromised data doesn't include sensitive information such as billing and credit card details.
Players, however should immediately reset their account passwords. Despite the database being encrypted, Riot Games strongly suggest players to reset their passwords.

President and CMO of Riot Games said, “Even though we store passwords in encrypted form only, our security investigation determined that more than half of the passwords were simple enough to be at risk of easy cracking."
Riot games already hired professionals to fix the security breach.
