Menace of the Underdark enters Open Beta

This has surely been a busy day with Turbine Games. About 30 minutes ago, Turbine has announced that Dungeons & Dragons Online's new expansion Menace of the Underdark has entered the Open Beta testing. Players can now download the beta client and check out the new expansion.
Menace of the Underdark, premium expansion of Dungeons & Dragons Online will be released at the end of the month but players can now download the beta client which gives them access to the Open Beta testing of the expansion, featuring Forgotten Realms setting.

We should mention that only those who have pre-ordered the expansion will be granted access to the Menace of the Underdark content in Open Beta. We know it doesn't really sound like a Open Beta but this is the case according to Turbine's announcement at DDO message boards.
Who Is Invited To Open Beta?
Everyone with a DDO account can come try Open Beta! Note that even if you have not purchased Menace of the Underdark, there are still general game changes and bug fixes that impact the existing DDO game that we'd love for you to try! Also note that purchase of the Menace of the Underdark Expansion will enable access to Expansion-specific content on Lamannia automatically.
