Otherland's 2nd Beta Testing Begins

Gamigo's Otherland is going really slow. The MMORPG has been in Beta for a very long time and today, Gamigo is launching the 2nd phase of the game's Beta testing. With new content, improvements especially with the combat system, increased level cap and brand new quests are all there for players to test in Beta. There is also a new Making of Otherland video that showcases the classes in the MMORPG. 

Otherland - Phase II of Beta launches - New Classes Video released

Otherland is a free to play MMORPG from Gamigo and RealU. The MMORPG has been in development for a long time but it's looking great in the latest Making of Video, you can see below. Lead Designer Nic Cusworth tells us about the classes available in the MMORPG first. There are four classes in Otherland; "Rage", "Assassin", "Energizer" and "Gunner". And then senior producer Mark Bartlett explains why Energizer is his favorite class in Otherland. 

The second Beta of Otherland has launched today and it will go on until December 17th. If you had registered for the Beta, check your inbox for an invitation.

Key features of Otherland's new version:

Completely reworked tutorial: The entry to the game now offers an exciting scenario with a direct connection to the last book of the series of novels by Tad Williams.

New entry area which leads players through the new world of "Five Isle", offers quests in "EightSquared", before taking you to the central hub of "Lambda Mall".
