Pockie Pirates: Open Beta coming Early July

Following the Closed Beta testing, NGames is getting ready to launch the open beta of its pirate inspired MMO "Pockie Pirates". Set in the era of pirates, Pockie Pirates feature a rookie pirate whose dream is to become one of the famous pirates and conquer the open seas and find treasures. Pockie Pirates features a wide variety of skills and a never-ending adventure in open seas.

Pockie Pirates enter Open Beta next week

Pockie Pirates aims to combine strategy with entertainment. The horizontal RPG game feature the story of young pirates whose goals are nothing but become the king of pirates to dominate the open seas, find treasures and manage their own crew as they assign them to different jobs on their ships. As easy as it sounds of a game, Pockie Pirates might have the potential to entertain while it offers deep tactics and strategies.

The CG trailer isn't really exciting, we really hope that the game lives up to the features list announed by NGames. It's hard to tell what the game can offer looking at this CG trailer.

One of the main features of the MMORPG is the Warship system.

A Warship is the pirate's most important vehicle. In order to reach the ultimate dream of becoming a Pirate King, players will have to build and improve their vessels and turn them into real strong Warships.

There is a Warship interface that allows players to upgrade their ships using gold and silver as resources. To improve a warship, one should increase its attributes and key stats such as its physical attack power, magical attack power, defense, speed and HP.

An interesting feature to note is the EXP of ships. Just like character, ships gain EXP too and with the EXP gained, they can be upgraded.
