Rift: Update 1.7 events

Rift is almost 1 year old and Trion World is already announcing anniversary celebration events. The first to announce is the Carnival of the Ascended events: The Carnival Games. According to the devs, these events will be like a party consisting of hours of new solo, group, raid, PvP, crafting gameplay and event quests.

Rift's celebration events will surely be special. Trion Worlds has had more success than they (possibly) could have ever imagined in the first 11 months of Rift. Now that the game is almost 1 year old, Trion is announcing special events to celebrate the game's 1st birthday with -who else- the community.

People of Telara is up for a festival of their lifetime. There will be skill games that players can test their abilities and win tickets, they will also be breaking festive piñatas everywhere in Telara to collect rare items. 

There are subscriber bonuses that will be there during the celebrations. Players will also be able to return to their high level characters to try out changes in Rift 1.7.

Of course the new players can enjoy Rift as Trion had launched Rift lite a while ago. If you have still not played this game, it's about the best time you can step your foot in Telara.
