Sentou Gakuen open beta is coming soon

Project Sentou Gakuen has announced the open beta date for the upcoming browser based anime-style MMO visual novel game; "Sentou Gakuen". The Open Beta will begin December 29th, 2011. Sentou Gakuen features a live story that will be reshaped by players themselves.

This sounds like an interesting MMO concept. Only if we can call this an MMO... Sentou Gakuen revolves around the high school named "Sentou" in Tokyo. The upcoming MMO will have a unique story-line that will change in time influenced by players. 

The team developing the game has come together only about 3 months ago. It's quite impressive that, in such a short time, they are at a point that they announce the launch of the Open Beta as December 29, 2011. We will keep an eye on Sentou Gakuen for more details, screenshots and videos.

About Sentou Gakuen:

Sentou Gakuen primarily takes place in a fictional school called Sentou High School, which is located somewhere in Tokyo. Physical locales of Tokyo such as Shibuya Scramble Crossing and Wako Shop at Ginza can be spotted in the game. When the story begins, the player will take their role as a new freshman student at Sentou High School where they will meet new friends as their journey begins.

Unlike most visual novels, the visual novel portion of Sentou Gakuen gets updated daily since it is part of a living community; the visual novel also affects online gameplay. Not only that, the visual novel of Sentou Gakuen is an ongoing story that, with time and players' support, will go beyond the expectations of traditional visual novels. Furthermore, the community of Sentou Gakuen may also have influence on how the stories of play out. Since it contains MMORPG elements, the players interact with the visual novel world, because only with players will there be protagonists in the world of Sentou Gakuen.
