Stronghold Kingdoms To Be Released Next Week

Stronghold Kingdoms is leaving its open beta next week as the developer studio Firefly has announced today. The MMORPG will be released officially on October 17th. Following the recent update that introduced new quests and graphical improvements, Stronghold Kingdoms is going to have another content update with the release of the game next week. Stronghold Kingdoms Turns Gold - Releases October 19th

Stronghold Kingdoms is one of the popular free to play MMO's. Despite its mediocre DevilsMMO rating of 6, the free MMORTS had impressed us with its decent visuals, small download size and populated servers. The better news is that the MMORTS will have a sound overhaul next week when it's officially released.

Firefly Studios has been working on a sound effects update for Stronghold Kingdoms, which was one of the most user-desired features. According to the developers the new sound effects will improve several areas of the MMORTS.

Battles now rumble with the marching and clash of armies, scouts can be heard galloping to their next target and traders carting off to the parish capital with their goods. There are also a number of sounds added to the user interface, providing better feedback for players.
