The Settlers Online: Evolvement of Your Kingdom Campaign introduced

The Settlers Online's developer BlueByte has revealed the first details of the upcoming update for the browser based MMORTS. Players from level 1 to level 50 are going to find the new campaign system called "Evolvement of your Kingdom" with 250 new primary and secondary quests. There are also new quests for Guilds as well as new adventures such as the Pirate Island. Continue reading for details.

No, the long awaited PvP battles are not coming in 2012 to the browser based MMORTS: Settlers Online. Yet, there are 250 new quests for players of all levels and Guild Quests to come. 

Odile Limpach, Managing Director of Ubisoft Blue Byte said: "The new Evolvement of your Kingdom campaign system and guild quests have been implemented with our community in mind. We listen very closely to their ideas for improvement and never stop working hard to deliver great quality and a better gameplay experience for all our players,”

Let's step away a little from The Settlers Online. How many times have you heard producers and directors say "We listen to the community. We read all the feedback." And how many times have you actually seen it in practice? I hear you. This is worth talking about it in a seperate article but it's turned into one of the biggest clichés in the world of MMO games.

Daily Quests, Rewards and Master Geologists

Back to the Settlers Online... The new update is also going to offer players new rewards, and a new resource to reward for completing daily quests. And the new in-game currency will be used to acquire potions, new adventures including Pirate Island, or new specialists such as the Master Geologist. Master Geologists will find more resources than the regular Geologist.  

Form a Guild with 10 members

Guilds will also not require 25 players and 10 players will be sufficient to form a new guild. The long-awaited PvP battle is not going to arrive until 2013, BlueByte has confirmed today.
