Wartune - A New MMORPG Has Opened Its First Server
Wartune was developed and published originally in China by 7th Road game. The MMORPG features the battle between the god of night and heroes. Players will take the role of a knight, mage or archer. The MMORPG has all the generic ideas we know from other games, like daily quests, PvP battles and city building. So what's unique about this new MMORPG? Well, there is this unique feature I have not heard of before.

QTE Combat System: Wartune has a unique combat system that has been designed to prevent click-and-wait combat, something we have been complaining occasionally in some of our reviews. 7th Road has a point here. The traditional system has started to get boring. Games like TERA has been able to improve this combat systems and we can only hope to see better systems in new games. I have not tested this QTE combat system which stands for Quick-Time-Event combat but it surely gives me a reason to give it a whirl. The developer defines its unique combat system as:
Wartune developers: "With Wartune’s QTE system, players are not only able to choose their skills, but boost them as well through real-time keyboard commands. You fight the monsters, not your computer."
Wartune also features multiple PvP battle modes including one on one ladders, group arenas, large scale battlegrounds, guild wars...
Another interesting bis is the daily boss fights of massive scale. Wartune developers say there will be thousand-player boss fights everyday at random times. This is always fun to join massive battles with other players for extra rewards and experience points. We will definitely take a look at Wartune in the next few weeks and publish a detailed review.
