World of Tanks Update 8.1 Goes Live

Wargaming released the details of World of Tanks's Update 8.1 which introduces the new British tanks such as the Cruiser Mk IV, Centurian MK III, Churchill VII and the other models of British light, heavy and medium tanks. Update 8.1 also introduces three new premium tanks the Soviet tank destroyer SU-122-44, Panther M10 and PZ IV Schmalturm. Four battle maps are also getting the overhauled rendering and lighting system that was first introduced in Update 8.0.

World of Tanks new content update; Update 8.1 welcomes the new nation in the combat MMO. British combat vehicles make their way into the battlefields in World of Tanks with impressive shooting accuracy, cannons with high armor penetration, fast moving cruiser advantages.
World of Tanks fans may remember the first British medium tank, the premium machine "Matilda Black Prince" which was introduced with Update 8.0 earlier this year. But the real deal is Update 8.1 if you are interested in Royal Tanks Corps and British tank war industry. Whole range of British tanks will make their debut in World of Tanks as standard light, medium and heavy tank models. British tanks were originally classified in 1920's as light, infantry and cruiser tanks.

Apart from the British tanks, three new premium machines are now available in the MMO.
Soviet tank destroyer SU-122-44 (tier 7, German destroyers Panther M-10 (tier 7) and the Pz IV Schmalturm (tier 6) become available for purchases.
Some of the maps in game were updated with Update 8.0, which introduced the new rendering and lighting system in game. With Update 8.1, Province, El Halluf, Dragon's Ridge and Abbey are also added to the list of the visually updated maps.
