WoW on iPhone is not a dream

Whether you're a fan of World of Warcraft or a mobile gamer, you must have imagined World of Warcraft on an iPhone. You're not totally alone if you think you are. WoW's senior producer John Lagrave said they have and still are looking into it.

In an interview at Eurogamer, World of Warcraft's senior producer John Lagrave said that WoW development team has imagined having WoW on iPhone but he also admits that it's a really hard task to carry out. 

"We won't do it until we think it's decent. But it's interesting and the world is evolving towards that little handheld device - I'd have fun on it, that's absolutely the case. It would be foolish for any game developer to not be looking at that and we're not - we don't think - we're foolish!

Despite the effort, Lagrave also says that there has been no way they have figured out, to take World of Warcraft to mobile platform, other than viewing armoury and checking auctions for your WoW account. 

"When we have an epiphany, everyone will know," he added. "But for now, no epiphany!"

This is still something as the producer and rest of the team sees this as a very challenging task. It's safe to assume that they also enjoy taking on challenges as they are the development team behind WoW anyway. I really don't think we're gonna have to wait too long to order World of Warcraft on iPhone.
