CJ Games reveal plans for UWO

Uncharted Waters Online without a doubt is one of the most unique MMOs today. However, due to a number of reasons, the game has not really been streamlined at its best. CJ Games Global, the publisher of UWO desires to change that this year. Read on for details.

Uncharted Waters Online to receive two new updates and enhanced tutorial

According to the post at Massively, CJ Games Global, the Korean publisher who previously bought Netmarble and opened eight studios, has plans to enhance UWO's user experience, specifically the starting experience. 

According to CJ Games, the tutorial of UWO is extremely long and difficult to complete for most of the gamers. The fact is, the tutorial was initially even longer than the current one. It used to take eight hours to complete, compared to today's tutorial which makes you play for about three hours, which is still considerably longer than most of the other MMOs.

When you think about it, CJ Games' approach makes perfect sense. Imagine, registering for a new MMO where there are thousands of other games out there, and you are forced to complete a 3 hour long tutorial, if you manage to complete it at once. Who is actually going to spend three hours on a tutorial other than the genre's pure enthusiasts.

In order to address this, CJ Games is going to make in-game videos and help players learn the game in a more fun and convenient way.

2-3 minute long videos will help players understand the basics of the game while the user-made videos (perhaps by the experienced UWO fans) will help them learn the advanced tactics in game.

Uncharted Waters Online will also have two new updates this year.
