Uncharted Waters Online
Released in 2005 for much of the east, it only arrived in the west within the last few years. Despite that little fact, there have been advertisements for the game swimming (get it?) about for quite a while. The source on which the MMO is based, also called Uncharted Waters, is one of those great KOEI strategy games that, in the US especially, have in recent years been tossed aside in favour of Dynasty Warriors and its numerous spin-offs. That’s a real shame, as anybody who has ever played Romance of the Three Kingdoms can attest, Koei has made some fantastic strategy games. Uncharted Waters Online takes everything people loved about the single player and takes it online. read more→
Edgeworld
Edgeworld drops you into the boots of an interstellar commander for a portion of a galactic union that has scattered apart into pieces after going colonial on a planet that was expected to be the home of an alien society known as the Ceruleans. Edgeworld is a fantastic example of a MMORTS that should be more than enough to satisfy the preferences of even the most hardcore RTS fanboys out there, even in relation to the MMO subset of the genre. read more→

Stronghold Kingdoms
I really can’t stress enough how cool it is to be able to set up a village in your local area. The first screen you’ll come across, depending on what server you choose, is a map of the UK and the option to choose where to found your new village. Split into counties, there are more than enough places to choose from and, upon selecting a county you’re finally taken to your village – a place that (if you’ve chosen somewhere local) you might even recognise. All in all this process takes a few minutes and is far less involved than creating a character... Stronghold Kingdoms is one of the decent MMORTS games that comes in a small size download and offers decent visuals and well populated servers. read more→

Ministry of War
Ministry of War is a quality example of a developer trying to push things.... There’s enough there to warrant this being a replacement for your favorite MMORTS, but not different enough that somebody who has played every game in the genre will be suitably impressed. It has everything every other game has, plus a little extra. Is it not the most advanced browser game in the world but at the very least we can say that it’s very impressive. During the review, we enjoyed Ministry of War a lot and, honestly, We think that you might enjoy it as well. read more→
