District 187 Enters Open Beta

District 187 is an upcoming MMOFPS game from CJ Games. The company today announced that the open beta servers of the game is now live. The open beta also introduce three new maps; The Factory, The Sewers, SS Steuben and four new weapons. District 187's developers have also opened their new development blog. District 187 Open Beta launches with a new content update

District 187 is a new MMOFPS published by CJ Games. The developer today opened the game's gates to all with the launch of the Open Beta. The game features six game modes, from the classic death match to knife-only take of the same mode and Bomb Mode, Round Match and the Scramble mode giving players the chance to experience quick matches as well as tactical matches.

With the launch of the open beta, CJ Games adds three new maps to the FPS. 

Distict 187's new SS Steuben map

1) The Factory
This is a new Bomb mission map where players can detonate or defend within the confines of a once thriving factory.

2) The Sewers
Hunt. Kill. Repeat. A battleground to chase and evade through maze like tunnels and water wells.

3) SS Steuben
SS Steuben looks like a hardmless old cargo ship but it's actually a vessel for drug and human trafficking. Players will be checking every corner and pile up the kills before time runs out.

Four new weapons. The new weapons introduced to the players with the launch of the beta includes the Desert Eagle, Double-barreled Winchester shotgun. The developers have also launched their new blog.
