Star Trek Online launches in Europe with Double XP event

Cryptic and Perfect World Europe has announced the launch of the European version of the popular Sci-Fi MMO title "Star Trek Online". With the European free-to-play launch, STO will now be available in French and German languages. There is a Double XP bonus weekend to celebrate this re-launch

Star Trek Online - German and French versions now available

Following the free-to-play tranformation, Cryptic and Perfect World Entertainment has been working on the localized version of the Sci-Fi MMO Star Trek Online. 

Today, the developer has announced that German and French players will be available to play the MMO in their own languages and join local chat in game, enter localized events and competitions.

Re-launch with Double XP weekend

Perfect World is throwing a Double XP Bonus event to celebrate this European Re-launch. 

"The promotion will run from today until Monday, April 2nd, around 10 AM (PDT)/ 6 PM (UTC).
Players can take advantage of the XP Weekend by visiting and speaking to Q on Earth Spacedock or Qo’noS and take the buff that will double the amount of their character earns"

Star Trek Online is now available in German and French
