Allods Online Astral Storm launches

gPotato has announced that "Astral Storm", the latest content update for Allods Online has gone live on all servers. Astral Storm brings two new features; "Mentor System" and Astral Treasure Hunt as well as several gameplay tweaks and a special launch event. Read on for the launch trailer and screen-shots.

Allods Online's latest content update Astral Storm has just launched introducing the new Mentor system and Astral Treasure Hunt.

The Mentoring system allows players from level 30 to form a mutual bound with a new character over level 6. As long as the mentoring is active, the mentor receives rewards such as gold and loot commission, meanwhile the protege learns from his/her mentor's experiences in game. The mentoring system gets terminated when the protege reaches his/her mentor's level.

Astral Caravan

If an Astral traveler prefer missions with a guaranteed reward, they are able to join the Astral Caravan which gives them a set of missions. The purpose of the Astral Caravan missions is to deliver goods to locations along trade routes in Astral space and this earns players a commission for their trouble. Players do have to be careful as other ships can attack them to steal the goods.

Careful when you take on the Astral Caravan missions!

Astral Storm also includes a series of bug fixes and enhancements. Questing interface has been improved in a way to bring an integrated map and quest log. There is also the new ‘automove’ feature that leads the player’s characters to the next quest location.
