CCP to stream EVE Fanfest from Rejkjavik

It was only wise for CCP to stream Eve Fanfest online. The event will take place all the way in Rejkjavik, Iceland, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. And lucky for Eve Online fans who won't be able to make it to the event, CCP announced that they will be streaming it online.

Eve Fanfest to be streamed online from Rejkjavik, Iceland

Eve Fanfest will be held in Rejkjavik, Iceland next weekend. CCP has not forgotten about the fans who won't be able to make the trip to Iceland and setup Eve TV in two formats.

Eve TV in HD will not be free but the hardcore fans of the game might find it worth purchasing as it will be in High Definition. 

If you don't want the HD version, there is also the 512kbit version that comes for free. 

You only need to have an Eve Online account to watch this live-stream next weekend when CCP streams Eve Online Fanfest 2012.

Eve TV to become a standard?

This made us wonder if EVE TV would be a seperate project that is not limited to the fanfest. It could be a great way to get more gamers involved if CCP did regular streaming from the Sci-Fi MMO game.
