EA announce 1.3 million active subscribers for SWTOR

Electronic Arts today released its Financial Report for its fourth fiscal year which ended Mar 31, 2012. According to the financial report, Star Wars The Old Republic the MMORPG has 1.3 million active subscribers. The report also hints on a new content pack "Allies".

Financial reports are fantastic if you are looking for numbers. Gamers don't care much about such reports but sometimes they are full of valuable information, such as the report EA released today for its 4th fiscal year that ended March 31, 2012.

According to EA's latest financial report, there is a decrease in the number of subscribers. EA had previously announced 1.7 million subscribers but the report says they had 1.3 million subscribers at the end of March.

The report also revealed a new content pack "Allies" coming for SWTOR. 

STAR WARS®: The Old Republic™ active subscribers are 1.3 million. Two new content packs – Legacy and Allies, available in Q1.

There is no information available for "Allies" yet but we should expect it soon as the report says Q1 which means, it should arrive by the end of June 2012.
