Firefall: Staged content approach explained in new video

Firefall is still in beta stage but it was one of the most popular games at PAX East a few weeks ago. Developers of the shooter MMO released a new video that explains their Staged Content Approach in Firefall that aims to offer players as much content as possible. Don't you know the feeling that you feel like there is nothing to do any longer in your favorite MMO game? I'm sure you feel this all the time. It's because of the lack of fresh content in some games except those who continously update the game with frequent expansions and content packs.

In this new video made by Firefall's developers, they try to explain how they created the virtual world of Firefall and how it allows players to explore new content at all times. 

Careful when you explore by yourself

The Melding

In Firefall, there is this unique concept named "The Melding". Developers explain this as a giant fog. If you have been following Firefall's videos you should remember this from one of the developer videos. The Melding allows players to explore and discover new parts of the map themselves. It also adds that Mystery ingredient to the game. And when an invidivual reveals a new zone, it's revealed for the whole community. That's what makes Firefall something like a massively team based MMO. 

Work together to explore

Once you play Firefall, you will notice how this makes a difference in regards to the community interactions. When I played Firefall, it was obvious that a lot of players worked together. Because every action you take also works for the whole community, you see players giving you a hand while you are working hard to complete a mission.
