Eve Online's developer CCP has been dealing with controversy all summer long. Finally they decided to apologize to the community. CEO H. Petursson sent out an email as an apology to the community. CCP also offers a remarkable discount to players who stopped playing.

Have you stopped playing Eve Online? This may be a good time if you miss playing it. CCP is offering a discount to those who stopped playing and would be tempted to return. You can subscribe now for $4.95 instead of $14.95 for the first month.

This -according to some part of the community- is still not going to make up for what CCP has done in the past few months but it's something. CCP's CEO is taking full responsibilty and has apologizes. I believe that's the best move they have made recently.
