Allods Online Volume 5 Summer update announced

Gala Networks has announced a new update coming to Allods Online this summer. Volume 5 Summer update will feature a series of fixes and tweaks alongside some new features. Continue reading for the teaser trailer and first details.

Gala Networks, the publisher of Allods Online has announced a new update coming to the MMORPG this summer. This new update named "Volume 5 Summer update" is going to fix a series of bugs and will also introduce some major features such as a new mentoring system and a new sector of Astral space dedicated to free-for-all treasure hunting.

With the new update, mentors will receive a range of rewards for their efforts, including gold, anniversary coins and marks of diligence. The type and value of rewards are based on the amount of time a player spends mentoring their apprentice. The mentoring relationship ends when an apprentice reaches the same level as their mentor.

Another new feature coming with summer update is  a new sector of Astral space for fearless Astral travelers. As a pure free-for-all with no protection for faction alliances, players enter the sector in their Astral vessels to acquire randomly-spawning treasure.

Apart from this Summer update, Allods Online will celebrate its 1st anniversary on May 11th 2012. There will be prizes and freebies for players when the developer celebrates the 1st anniversary with special events.
