ArenaNet announced the final stress test for Guild Wars 2

Who would have thought? Guild Wars 2 fans and especially those who have already pre purchased the game are counting down the days in front of their computers even with de attempts at connecting to the servers.It doesn't work, does it? It will work tomorrow! ArenaNet had its last stress test on 12th of this month. Apparently the developer is trying to make sure they don't have launch problems like Diablo 3. If these stress tests have helped them, we should really expect a perfect launch, they can't be failing every time. Read on for the details of this final (most probably) stress test.

Guild Wars 2 - Stress Test on August 21st

If you think you won't see the beautiful world of Tyria, the Ruins of Ascalon, the Crystal Desert once more before Friday, ArenaNet has got a big surprise for you. Have you left your Beta character in the dark? Shame on you! Make sure you are all set tomorrow from noon (I know, I know...), well, just try to be there for the final stress test for Guild Wars 2.

Guild Wars 2 release date: August 24, 2012

This new test will be like the previous one. You may experience connection issues and some features will be broken but that's the way it's meant to be. ArenaNet will try to perfect its system before the big launch day, Friday. I really hope they will be able to launch without problems but with hundreds of thousands of players counting down minutes, I wouldn't be surprised if things get complicated on launch-day.

Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch.

* The stress test is open to anyone who has pre-purchased Guild Wars 2.
* Characters will not be wiped from the previous Stress Test.
