Crossfire Europe Opening Cup

We had given away Crossfire beta keys here in October. Yesterday, Crossfire Europe Opening Cup sign ups have opened. The Cup will start on January 5 and SG Interactive meanwhile the publisher of Crossfire has released the final version of Crossfire. Continue reading for details and a Crossfire wallpaper. 

Crossfire is a free to play first person shooter MMO game. The publisher SG Interactive has released the final version of the game yesterday and opened the sign ups for the Opening Cup in ESL. ESL is the largest eSports league in Europe. It's hard to guess if Crossfire will be popular as a part of ESL however the free to play game has been getting popular since its Closed Beta. We will wait and see...

With today's final release of Crossfire Europe, the sign-ups are open for the great Opening Cup in the Electronic Sports League (ESL), the largest eSports league in Europe. After the community widely accepted the ESL Beta Cup for the Free2Play FPS by publisher SG Interactive in the first half of December, we are getting down to real business on January 5. In the 5on5 Search & Destroy Opening Cup the participants will define who is the best team in Europe. Besides ESL Premium and a special Opening Cup award for the winning teams, there will be some ingame items to win, sponsored by SG Interactive. Sign-ups are possible at www.esl.eu/eu/crossfire/sd/5on5/openingcup/signup until January 5 and all Crossfire Europe fans across Europe are welcome to participate. All you need is a free ESL account with an entered Crossfire Europe nickname.

In the meantime, the players can play in the 1on1, 2on2, 3on3 and 5on5 Search & Destroy ladders to improve their tactics for the Opening Cup on January 5. Additionally, many more national events in the German, Polish and French sections, as well as European tournaments, are at the ready. This includes one of the highest European eSports competitions – the ESL Major Series. More information on Crossfire Europe in the ESL Major Series will follow shortly. Parallel to the ESL Major Series in the coming year the ESL will continue to host tournaments in all sections.
