Trion introduce Rift's new Conquest mode

Three faction open world PvP mode, The Conquest is coming to Rift. Trion Worlds will introduce the new PvP game mode which is totally seperated from the PvE world of Telara. Development has released a new video explaining the new Cross server open world PvP system.

A three faction open world PvP mode in a two faction game like Rift? This must be the first question that comes to your mind, isn't it? Well, the developers explain this as, when players enter this PvP mode, the  Defiant and Guardian battle disappearns and is replaced with three factions available for players. The Dominon, Oathsworn and Nightfall.

In the Mathosian lands, players choose one of the three factions and start battling to control strategic locations.

In this developer diary, developers describe the next innovation in RIFT, Conquest PvP mode where players pick one of three new factions from across the planes and battle to dominate an entire zone.
