Firefly Studios' real time strategy MMO game Stronghold Kingdoms has remained the second most popular free to play game on Steam. Stronghold Kingdoms which launched only three months ago has managed to stay ahead of well known titles like APB and DC Universe Online.

Free to play titles are popular than ever before. Real time strategy games are too. It's hard to see a new MMO that is not a MMORTS today. Despite the tough competition, Firefly Studios are the proud developers of the MMORTS game Stronghold Kingdoms. 

Firefly had previously stated its intention to bring Kingdoms to new platforms and territories. With the game’s Steam release and the opening of new German, Russian and French worlds, the company’s goal of one million registered players is closer than ever.

With its small download size, populated servers and rich features along with its decent visuals, Stronghold Kingdoms has been a pretty good alternative to other RTS titles. 

Stronghold Kingdoms is a medieval online castle game that allows players to choose one of four classes, build their own village, research technologies and develop economy and army to dominate.
