The Secret World Issue 2 has been delayed

We have been praising Funcom for delivering fresh content to its modern day MMO "The Secret World". Unfortunately only a few days after we posted about the upcoming content update, known as Issue 2:Digging Deeper, Funcom announced that they had to delay the update until September 11th. It's not too bad when you think about it. It's only two weeks but tell that to the fans of the game! Read on for details.

The Secret World Digging Deeper delayed until September 11

I am a huge fan of The Secret World. If you have been following our regular posts about the game, you may remember the announcement for the game's next Issue; a content update pack with loads of new quests, regions and raids. Unfortunately, shortly after the announcement of Digging Deeper update, Funcom developer decided to delay the update until September 11.

The announcement explains the situation very honestly. Apparently Funcom has been trying to decrease the costs and they had to build a smaller team of developers. This naturally caused the delay with the update. Frankly, I think it's too honest and I am surprised Funcom is sharing such information with the fans of the game but it's better than giving an arbitrary reason.

Apart from the Mission Pack #2, Digging Deeper will ad the new Rocket Launcher weapon, introduce two new dungeons; The Facility and Hell Eternal. Players will also be able to customize their character at Ockham's Razor and get a complete plastic operation at The Modern Prometheus.
