SOE announced the third DLC pack for DC Universe Online. The Battle for Earth will soon be availabe for download and it will feature the new Earth Powers power set and a new adventure that put players against Braniac, the new threat to the universe. DC Universe Online update 9 is now live. Assemble for Battle features Role Optional Alerts, Team Buff and the new Novice Raids. The role optional alerts are for those who'd like to see who is queing up for what. Team buff gives a bonus to players when three or more players are grouped together. Read on for the details.

DC Universe online celebrates 1 year anniversary

SOE yesterday announced the celebration of its popular MMO title "DC Universe Online." The free to play transition at the end of 2011 was obivously the greatest change in 12 months. It also helped grow the PC user base while the PS3 MMO version has been as popular. SOE is giving away a special cape as an anniversary gift to the players.
