Crystal Saga Review

CRYSTAL SAGA

Genre: Browser Based MMORPG

Publisher: R2 Games

Crystal Saga is a simple point and click browser-based MMO from r2 Games. Its simple interface has a lot going for it but outside of that it feels fairly dry. A nice alternate to the heavy downloads involved in something like World of Warcraft or, more similarly, Eden Eternal, but following the same sort of layout without the level of depth you’d get from those games.

Crystal Saga Character Creation

With 5 male characters and 5 female characters to pick from, each looking like something out of the book of generic anime characters, and 5 classes, it doesn’t take long to pick something that is almost bearable. With that said, the character I picked ending up looking nothing like the character I picked in the character creation slot; it was hardly a disappointment.

DevilsMMO MMORPG Review

by Matt Blain

Many things come to mind when deciding on whether or not a game is worth the time to play, although some games are harder to decide on, especially when very little is known. With more and more games coming out each year, that choice is only getting harder and the discernment is that much heavier, with more options and so many factors to take into consideration.

One of the most reliable aspects is that of renown, as it is often an important factor within the games themselves. Renown is often something that can be enticing, especially when there is praise from like-minded gamers. Combine the renown of companies such as Turbine and Atari with the historical mystification of the infamous fantasy adventure game, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), and the impressively intriguing Dungeons & Dragons Online is the result.

Shaiya Review

Shaiya is a relatively new free-to-play MMORPG with hyper-realistic fantasy environments, gut-wrenching action, full-scale back-and-forth combat and one hell of a world to explore and conquer. There’s a heavy load of some of the most hardcore elements in the RPG genre – let alone in MMO format – plus a full smack-ton of monsters, wildlife and various additional incidences of enemy forces just waiting to bite into your excessively-huge backside and rip it straight into a pile of shredded bits and pieces.
