Vanguard F2P Launches August 14th

This was announced months ago by Sony Online Entertainment. Vanguard was going free to play but SOE had not disclosed the exact date. Yesterday SOE revealed the F2P launch details for Vanguard. From August 14th, Vanguard will go free to play along with its new official website, and some new features too. Read on for the free to play launch details.

Sony Online Entertainment, a week after completing the free to play transformation of Everquest, announced today that another of its MMORPGs, Vanguard is going free-to-play later this year. With this announcement, producer Andy Sites also announced a new content update coming next week.
