Battlestar Galactica Online: June 28 release notes

Popular space shooter, Battlestar Galactica Online will undergo some changes. With yesterday's patch, 1v1 ranked battles in private instance areas are introduced. The new Arena matchmaking system finds you an opponent that matches your ship size.

Yesterday's patch for Battlestar Galactica Online brought a new 1v1 PvP match system to the game. The new matchmaking engine analyze your ship size, pilot level and assign you an initial rating for ranked matches.

When you want to start a 1v1 match. matchmaking system tries to find you an opponent with the same ship size and if it can't match one, it will gradually increase the ship size its looking for. However the ship size class will always be matched. (Strike vs Strike, Escort vs Escort or Line vs Line) – the matchmaking system will never match you against someone in a different size class)

One last note; Rewards are disabled in these ranked matches.
